Dedicated policy for purchases, credits, and support review

This Refund Policy explains when a subscription purchase may qualify for a refund, what usage patterns usually prevent refunds, and how MinionArts reviews requests. This policy applies to subscription purchases unless a separate written offer or law requires different terms.

Our goal is to be fair while protecting the platform from abuse. Refund decisions consider timing, credit usage, output usage, account standing, and whether the request involves a platform failure or ordinary product usage.

7-Day Refund Window

Eligible new subscriptions may request a refund within 7 days of the initial purchase date. Requests submitted after that 7-day window are generally not eligible for a monetary refund unless required by law.

The 7-day window applies to the first purchase of a qualifying subscription. It does not automatically apply to renewals, plan changes, add-ons, promotional credits, gifted access, or accounts already refunded previously.

What Keeps A Refund Eligible

Eligible Subscription

Refunds are most likely to be considered for a new subscription purchased directly from MinionArts, where the request is made within 7 days and the purchase is not excluded by a special offer, enterprise agreement, or local legal exception.

Eligible Usage

Light or limited exploratory use is more likely to remain eligible. In general, a refund request is stronger where only a small portion of the plan benefits were used and the account did not receive substantial completed generation value.

Eligible Account Standing

The account must be in good standing. Support may consider refunds where the account has complied with the Terms of Service, usage policies, billing rules, and anti-abuse protections, and where the user cooperates with reasonable support review.

What Avoids A Refund

Used Or Exhausted Credits

If all credits included with the plan have been used, the subscription is generally not eligible for a refund. Refund eligibility is also usually lost where most credits were consumed, where usage shows substantial value was received, or where completed generation work was already delivered at scale.

Heavy Or High-Volume Usage

Refunds are generally not available after heavy usage, high-volume generation work, repeated export or download activity, commercially used outputs, or any account activity showing the plan was substantially consumed for its intended value.

Abuse Or Policy Violations

Refunds may be denied where the account engaged in abuse, fraud, chargeback threats, multiple refund attempts, creation of accounts to exploit credits or promotions, prohibited content, or other violations of our Terms or usage policies.

How Refunds Are Reviewed

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We may review account age, billing history, total credits allocated, total credits used, generation volume, export and download activity, output usage, policy compliance, and prior support interactions before deciding whether a refund should be approved.

Approval is not automatic simply because a request is made within 7 days. The request must also remain eligible under this policy and any related Terms of Service.

Failed Generations And Credit Returns

Failed generations are treated differently from subscription refunds. If a generation fails because of a platform or processing error, eligible credits may be restored automatically or after support review.

Completed generations that simply do not match personal taste, prompt preference, or creative expectation are not treated as failed generations and do not by themselves create refund eligibility.

How To Request A Refund

To request a refund, contact MinionArts support within 7 days of the initial purchase and provide the account email, purchase date, reason for the request, and any relevant billing or platform issue details. Support may ask for additional information needed to validate eligibility.

If a refund is approved, access to the refunded subscription may be canceled immediately and related credits, benefits, or premium features may be removed.

Policy Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted unless a different effective date is stated. Where required, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
